Cotton Valley has a rich
heritage in oil and gas exploration and production, and in the timber
industry. This remains true today with refineries in operation, several new
natural gas wells drilled and others planned, and with timber resources
constantly being harvested and replinished. Future
economic development opportunities exist with the routing of Interstate-69
just to the south and east of the town. Cotton Valley
is a good place to live, raise a family and enjoy recreation opportunities.
